    Medical Assistant Requirements:
    High School diploma or GED required.  Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.  Current CPR or commitment to obtain.  Favorable FBI, PA State Police and PA Child Abuse Clearances.  Physician office experience with advanced computer skills highly preferred.   Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, organize, multi-task and problem-solve.
    Other
    Knowledge of various insurance company regulations.
    Assures that each patient visit and the logistical arrangements surrounding the visit are carried out with courtesy, caring and consistency.  Assists the physician/extender in patient care/education to adult and children.  Administer injections, perform venipuncture, minor laboratory procedures, assist with minor surgeries and triage patients.

    Medical Coder - Biller Full Time @ Central Billing Office

    Position Highlights &  Expectations:

    • Able to work in a fast pace environment and multi-task.
    • No evenings or weekends.
    • Provide excellent customer service.

    Medical Coder Biller Requirements
    High School Education or GED required. Sucessful completion of an AHIMA approved Coding Certificate Program preferred.   Previous physician practice & hospital coding and Medical Biller Diploma highly preferred. Favorable FBI and PA State Background checks. Knowledge of medical terminology required.  Knowledge of CPT, ICD-coding and medical billing are required.  Excellent organizational, communication,  interpersonal skills and basic computer skills required. 

    Will be responsible for completing all phases of medical billing to all carriers in a timely manner as follows:  posting charges, payments and adjustments, A/R follow-up of unpaid insurance claims/patients balances; printing and sending claims either by mail or electronically; answering phone calls from patients and practices regarding billing questions.  Reviews clinical documentation and applies appropriate ICD 9 & CPT 4 codes.

    Other
    Committed excellence in customer service for all aspects of care provided to patients on a continual basis.
